hahahaha, remember that time when i (haley) said i was leaving for vacation on thursday (today)? when i said thursday... i really meant friday. funny stuff, funny stuff... sooo, ummm, yeah, i just thought i would set the record straight. as far as i know colleens play is going well, i havent really talked to her since this morning.

i actually just finished writing a poem called negative one, so thats something to look forward to, havent finished editing it yet, so i will post it after i get back from vacation. other than that, there really isnt much else going on. there hasnt been a book review because i havent been reading that much. *gasp*. yeah, i realize im a bad person, but dont worry, i will start reading again over vacation because ive got some plane rides and stuff.

it feels weird, because we have what, 6 followers including myself, and i know all of them. i feel kind of dumb talking to you guys like i have a bunch of followers, but i think if we keep working on it, we will get more followers! *crosses fingers*

hey, its haley. i cant apoplogize enough for the lack of blogness!!!!!! i just havent had anything to blog about! that combined with the fact i am extremely lazy does not make for a lot of posts! im sorry to report that i still have nothing to blog about. i just wanted to let you guys know, that i will do my best to post more because this thursday im leaving for vacation at some place in the world. (i really dont want to be stalked.)

i will be back on the 7th of august, so thats when normal posting will pick back up. so i will keep you guys posted, and i hope your having a great summer!

hi collen! SPOILERS (for pretty little liars)

hey, the play sounds fun! when will the performance be? id like to see it if possible. i dont really have much to talk about now... how long is play practice? is it everyday, cuz that would so suck. pace or tryps?

so is anyone watching pretty little liars? if so, you will understand when a say AHHHHHH, IS EMILY DEAD?! THEY CANT JUST KILL HER OFF!!!!!! you can stop reading if you dont know what im talking about.
-some ideas

• toby was supposed to kill emily, and thats why jenna (i think it was her) changed the population on the sign. then toby realized that he likes emily (?) and he couldnt go through with it. (i cant believe toby and jenna had a thing for each other!)
• emily is really dead and toby will succeed in killing all of them except for aria. why aria? because in the opening song at the end shes the one that puts her finger to her lips. none of the other girls, just her!
• toby thought he killed emily, but shes still barely alive, the girls find her and save her. maybe they even find toby and he gets arrested or something. (not the best theory)
• toby brings emily to jenna and jenna kills emily herself
• emily escapes (?)
• the girls catch up with toby as he catches her and they save her before he can hurt her
• toby really wasnt planning on killing emily, he just wanted to talk to her. jenna did want emily dead though, but toby wont do it.
• toby really isnt allisons killer, someone else did it, and toby secretly had a thing for allison, rather than jenna, so he wants to talk to the girls about it. (extremely unlikely.)
• toby captures emily as part of jennas plan, but has his own agenda. he doesnt kill emily, but uses her to lure the others girls to him so that he can torture them (?) or something...
• maybe jenna isnt really blind, it was all act and jenna told toby to capture emily so she could kill her herself, but first she wants to reveal her not-blindness. so she does, but emily escapes and she tells the other girls jenna isnt blind.

just some ideas, im not sure if any are right, but i guess we will find out on tuesday! if you want to comment DO NOT SPOIL THE STORY, you can simply tell me one or none of my theories are right and leave me to wonder. do you guys have a theory of your own? post it!

It's Colleen and I'm sorry that I haven't been posting a lot lately. Sorry 'bout that. But I have a good reason! I was at play practice.

The play is Alice in Wonderland, and Laura and I are Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, respectively. (Sorry for not telling you sooner Haley...)

Last week we learned all of the songs for the play, 33 in all, so that we didn't have to carry around our books for this week, Choreography Week !

We've had one day of dancing, Monday was a devoted to music review, and let me tell you my friends, that day of dancing STUNK!

Nothing against Miss Kristin, our choreographer because she did a great job of making simply wonderful and perky dancing, but those dances are so hard! Especially The Oz move in 'The Caucus Race'. The Oz, refers to the way that Dorothy, the Lion, the Tinman, and the Scarecrow skip down the yellow brick road, which is much (!!!) harder than you would think. Most of the cast don't quite have it, and those of us that do, are unsure about how good it is.

Now the whole of the dancing didn't stink, for example, the Unbirthday Song was a lot of fun. There is a lot of running and arm flailing, and cheating people out of their seats in musical chairs. In the end, everyone tricks Alice into lossing her seat, even Small and Tall Alice (we have people to play the different parts for Alice when she shrinks and grows.

wintergirls

hey, its haley, and as promised im going to review the book wintergirls by laurie halse anderson. if your wondering why her name sounds familiar it might be because she is also the author of speak. before i begin i would like to give a shout out to nerdfighters, if you go to the youtube channel sxephil you will find that john green interviewed philip defranco at vidcon just the other day. i love phil and john, so seeing them be hilarious together was the best thing ever!

anyway, now the review.

wintergirls is a book about a girl named lia, shes about 18 years old and is battling anorexia, bulimia, depression, and cutting herself. she feels like her parents dont really care and her younger step sister is her only escape. to top it all off, her best friend, cassie, recently died.

cassie and lia were best friends who made a blood pact. that one would be skinnier than the other. thus, cassie became the puker and lia became the faster. about a month before cassie died, she and lia stopped talking to each other. they continued to get skinnier and skinnier though.

on the night cassie died, alone in a motel room due to her weight, or lack thereof, she called lia. 33 times. lia did not answer.

this book was so good, i could not put it down, for real, and i kept thinking about lia and cassie long after i had stopped reading it. 5 stars! this book is not for the weak of stomach because at one point the cutting is pretty intense. otherwise, love it!!!! i got my copy at barnes and nobel for 10$, but you can always go to the library!

why hello

heyyyyy, its haley. so i just got back from my swim meet and i thought i would do a quick post. im going to bed soon, so i dont have time to review wintergirls, but i thought i would mention that we officially have 6 followers, which is amazing! also, in less than two days the new adam young album will be released called an airplane carried me to bed. the artist name is sky sailing, its going to be the best thing ever, so all six of you should really go and check it out. and yes, i know that you will kristen.

the boy who dared

hi everyone its haley and i literally just finished a book called the boy who dared by susan campbell bartoletti. its about a boy who lives in nazi germany (not a jew) and about his life there. hes never agreed with the treatment of the jews or anything the government is doing really. once hes old enough he finally does something.

eventually he is caught, but its interesting to see what life was like and how much hitler was adored back in germany. its actually based on a true story. its a really quick read, not even 200 pages, so its nice if you need a shorter book. the only thing i really didnt like was the ending. i thought the events in the ending were fine, but i didnt like the way it was written.

other than that, i highly recommend this book!

I think I've got some plot development! Sarah and Johnson are thinking about the origins of the orphanage and the origins of the kids and are doing some poking around. What they are going to find will be quite... unexpected.
