hi guys, i was just on my ipod a couple days ago and i have this app, its called iheart radio, and its like pandora... only it isnt... but anyway, they sometimes feature music vids and other stuff and i found this amazing song, im too lazy to put a link, but its called i didnt know. its by alex lambert. NO, not adam lambert!! ALEX! geez.
so anyway, some of the diehard american idol fans know alex, he got eliminated WAY, WAY, WAYYYYY to early for me! i mean, that doof andwer garcia?! no offence, but i really didnt like him!!! i LOVED alex!!!
so, as you can imagine, i was super, super, super excited to see it and... IT WAS AMAZING! the lyrics were so beautiful, and meaningful! i was almost crying by the end, and... hey, so im going to take a little break from reading and writing and stuff and talk about how annoyed i am at my family.
so today i laid around in bed til about 1015 and went downstairs to go say good morning, you know, like a good person, just to find out that im FREAKIN HOME ALONE! gee family, thanks so much for leaving a note or a text saying you were leaving me to go run errends! its nice that you let me sleep and all, but COME ON! im an unrealistic and worrisome person, im going to think you were all kidnapped or murdered.
it gets better though. so i text my mom and sister asking them what the crap is going on and neither answer! its like, ok, maybe you WERE kidnapped! so then i have to CALL my mom and figure out whats going on! i was going to get either really pissed off or really frantic if she didnt answer, but she did and i found out that they are running FREAKIN errends. at 1030 in the morning?! who does that?!
who leaves their daughter home alone without so much as a note!? i mean i know writing is a lot of effort, but really? i guess my parents are just those type of people who relish in the thought of their daughter freaking out. i wonder if theres hope for me.

i remember when i first found out mockingjay was coming out in august i vouldve died right then and there. it mustve been march or something. the problem is that both of the books before that ending so dramatically!!!!!!! i just wanted to pick up the next book and start on it!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i will eventually tell you the plot of hunger games, but right now i think ill just be REALLY, REALLY, REALLYYYYYYYY EXCITED. im about halfway through, and so far its live up to my expectations!!!!! these books are so raw, and so emotional, ive already cried like 20 times! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!! anyway, just read them and all questions will be answered. start with hunger games obviously, not mockingjay, cuz youll be super confused if you do.

so instead of boring you with my usual nonsense about what books you should read im going to tell you about how terrible my first day of school was. i didnt get lost or anything, but my school has no a/c. it was almost 100 today... Xl thats my dead face.

- i cant even wear sandals because i have space and aeronautics which is similar to a shop class.

- i had to get up in multiple classes and introduce myself. complete and utter torture. i would rather die than embarres myself in front of people.
- by 7th period i was ready to fall asleep. luckily it was art.
- my classes are all over the school so i have to carry pretty much all my stuff around with me the whole day.
- DID I MENTION NO A/C?!
- i couldnt stop thinking about my younger sister, in her nice air conditioned building.
- so much walking!
- had to get up early.
so, only one thing made me truely happy today, the fact that because the the MIND BENDINGLY TERRIBLE HEAT, we are having an early realease tomrrow. cue the angels singing. and to make things even better, my sister isnt!:P

skinjacker trilogy
hey guys, so ive been reading a lot this summer obviously, and i just finished a book called everwild. its the second book in the skinjacker trilogy by neil shusterman. he is one of my favorite authers ever, he also wrote unwind, a very good book.
so the first book is called everlost, the second like i said is everwild, im not sure what the third one is though because its not out yet. im just gonna tell you about everlost though, so i dont ruin it. ;)
when kids die, most of them go to heaven. some dont quite make it though. theres nothing remarkable about them, they arent evil, or anything like that. they simple encounter some difficulty and end up in a place called everlost. thats what happend to nick and ally. when the wake up from their 9 month sleep they find themselves in a world where they cant be hurt, dont need to eat, sleep, or even breathe.
they find their way to the mother hen and self proclaimed queen of everlost-mary hightower. she takes in all the children of everlost and gives them a home, somewhere to feel safe. nick embraces his new life in everlost, but ally is restless. she longs to find out how her parents are coping and she openly challenges marys ways earning her the nickname-ally the outcast.
but everlost has its own dangers, for if you stand in one place too long you will sink. to the middle of the earth. and of course theres the monster only known as... the mcgee.
so, i highly recommend these books, they are pretty freakin awesome:)

I'm Back! And recomendations
Sorry I've been away, I've had the play, and chores around the house, and babysitting for 18 hours. But I'm back now and that's what counts.
Today I saw Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and it was great. Better than I had expected, and I was acting like a total fan girl. : )
I don't want to give anything away and spoil it for anyone else, but I will say that in the end, guy gets girl and everything ends well. It's a great combo of a romantic-comedy-action flick. It keeps you interested and into it. There are subtle things from old video games, from the name of both Scott's and his evil ex girlfriends band's names, to the opening music over the 'Universal' logo and the battle scenes. Scott is able to defeat the evil ex's by using his brain, his mad bass playing skills, and a little help from his friends. And there is no blood in any of the movie, because, true to good old video games, when you kill your opponent, he turns into change. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go rent a Lego Starwars video game. I'll wait.
the only thing I'd change would be either, which girl Scott gets in the end (seriously, Knives is awesome and sweet!), or the character development that we see in Ramona, because in between all of the epic battles of epicness, I don't feel that we get enough of a feel for the character of Ramona. But maybe that's the point. She's like Margo in Paper Towns. Her characters roll isn't as big of a one as it might seem. She's just another person, and no matter how larger than life people may seem, no one is.
Another recommendation I have is a Youtuber. Well.... Several. I'll relate them to you in another post so Haley won't bug me to death about updating the blog,
(Seriously. She's sent me over 36 emails today alone.)

GUESS WHOS BACK!
hi everyone, its haley and IM BACK!! YAY! *fireworks explode*. now posting, at least from me, will be back to normal! im not sure about colleen though, i will email her and find out... so i dont really have anything to REALLY blog about, just letting you guys know. ummmmm......... so yeah... i dont have swimming for a while, until school starts on the 19th...
